Nancy Lucille Sayers, age 74 of Roseville, died Friday, May 22, 2015 at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. She was born June 24, 1940 in Detroit, daughter of the late Edward and the late Lema L. (nee: Cates) Boskee. As a laborer in the automotive production trades, Nancy was a dedicated and loyal worker who gave the best of her efforts to earn some of those special moments in life,...the most precious of which was spending time with family and friends. And with that said, one of her favorite gathering places was somewhere on a camping trip. She loved to go camping and thoroughly enjoyed the coveted times around the campfire,...stokin' the flames of the fire, and rekindling the ties of the loving relationships that enveloped her life. Another treat that the years of working hard afforded her were the annual treks she made to Zephyr Hills, Florida, a place she enjoyed beyond expression. Exchanging the wintry mix of the Mitten for the warmth of the Sunshine State just always made sense, and always made for some wonderful memories. Any winter day without a snow shovel in one's hand is a GREAT day.Her later years were filled with the unique and heartwarming joy & pleasure through the association she shared with the infamous, "Red Hat Society." Always fun, always engaging,...these ladies enjoy a plethora of activities that bind them together and make for a wonderful way of navigating one's golden years. Adorned with their traditional colors of red & purple, Nancy happily donned her regalia and joined in the fun whenever she was able. Yet of all the moments and memories that meant the most to Nancy, nothing could ever compare to the riches she found in the love of family. Spending time in their company held life's most treasured memories,...especially when it included her adorable grandchildren. They were definitely her cherubs, with some of her most cherished moments being the egg-coloring times at Easter. The Easter Bunny had nothin' on Grandma!A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Nancy was all about family,...and her family was all about her. She leaves a legacy of love that will be treasured and embraced with each reflection shared. She touched a multitude of lives throughout her journey in life and leaves a storehouse of memories for all to remember who were blessed to know this wonderful lady. She will be missed immensely and loved eternally. Nancy was the beloved wife of the late Charles. Dear mother of Jamie Stiffler, Charles (Paula) Sayers, Scott (Rhonda) Sayers, and the late Russell Sayers. Loving grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 2.
