Michael Robert Schmidt

Michael was a proud combat veteran of the United States Army, having served during the conflict in Iraq and Kuwait from 2001 until 2004. He was a hard worker, working the assembly line at Ford for 13 years. Michael was always an athlete and especially loved football and bowling. He played football all through high school and loved teaching and watching his sons play and his daughter cheer at their games. Some of his favorite memories include the fishing trips he took with his grandfather. An avid videogame player he enjoyed playing Call of Duty with his sons and online. As an animal lover he treasured his time spent with his dogs Coco and Skyler before they passed.

Michael is the beloved husband of 19 years of Anamarie Schmidt. He is the loving father of Dylan Schmidt, Alayna Schmidt, and Dominyc Schmidt. The treasured brother of Justin Schmidt and uncle of Johan Schmidt.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, from 3pm until 8pm, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren. An instate will be held the following day, Saturday, March 1, from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 12pm, at the funeral home.
