Marie E. Schulte, age 70, of Warren, Michigan passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024. Marie was born in Detroit, Michigan; the daughter of the late Stanley and the late Stephanie Stempien. Beloved wife of Mel Schulte; dear mother of Brian (Nick) Mitkus and Matthew Mitkus; cherished grandmother of Matt Jr., Annalee, and Andi Kate; and sister of Nancy (the late Dennis) Koras, Jeannette (James) Mcnamara, Alice Mitkus, and Tom (Carol) Stempien.
Marie enjoyed decorating for each and every holiday with her festive "tchotchkes". She loved trying out new recipes from the Pioneer Woman; and after retirement, she was always excited to meet the girls from work for lunch. But above everything else, she adored spending time with her grandchildren: Matthew Jr., Annalee, and Andi Kate.
A visitation for Marie will be held Friday, January 19, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at D.S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, Michigan 48093, followed by a prayer service at 11:30 AM. Memorials may be made in Marie's name to the American cancer Society.
