Marie was a force of nature. She was one of the chosen ones. One of God's chosen who was sent here to show us how life should be lived. To take what is given to us and just live. For a person who didn't have a voice, Marie spoke volumes. She definitely knew what she wanted in life and knew how to make people
give it to her. She had the most infectious smile and an amazing laugh (although she didn't laugh often, and
she usually laughed at the most inappropriate times. Marie attended Bovenschem School for 23 years. All the staff there were family to her, and she thrived there. After Bovenschen, Marie attended a workshop at CEO in Clinton Township. Just like at Bovenschen, everyone there loved Marie. She made friends everywhere she went.
Marie was a special person. She loved rollercoasters, all rides, actually. Magazines of any kind were to her what Facebook is to all of us. And she acquired them wherever she went. Any little thing that she could pick up and put in a backpack or pocket was fair game. And the chocolate milk and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Shoes always on her feet even to sleep and zippers, oh the zippers.
Marie was the best of the best. She will truly be missed by everyone who knew her.
Marie was the beloved daughter of Mariann and Stephen Medvik. Loving sister of Michael (Alexis) Medvik, Destiny Estes, and Erik (Sarah) Holdridge. Dear aunt of Noah, Elijah, Caleb, Lucas, Kaden, and Oliver. Marie is also survived by many special aunts and uncles.
Visitation for Marie will be held Saturday, February 25th from 2-8pm with a 6pm Rosary at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI.
