Linda Jean-Marie Herman-Marcial

Linda Jean-Marie Herman Marcial, age 57, died Thursday, July 16, 2020 in Madison Heights, Michigan. She was born November 7, 1962 in Detroit, daughter of the late Edi Marcial and the late Shirley (nee: Woodward) Marcial.

Linda graduated from Paul K. Cousino High School in 1980. Shortly after graduating she was married and had two beautiful children. She lived in various cities to include Chesterfield; Tawas, Michigan; and had moved to Florida for a short stint before returning home to Michigan to settle down and make her house a home in Madison Heights.

During a period of time Linda spent in the work world, she was employed as a secretary within the landscaping industry. But without question, her most devoted efforts were those poured into the hearts and lives of her beloved family. The most important work she ever extended was in caring for her life. Family meant the world to Linda, as did the treasured relationships she shared with each of them. She was known as one who loved to help others before helping herself, which was truly a gift from God.

Speaking of God,…Linda’s personal testimony and faith towards the end was of the utmost importance to her, and was an incredible source of strength as she battled her challenges in life. Illness may have chipped away at her body, but Linda’s sweet spirit grew stronger with each battle and was truly a testament to her deep and abiding faith. It was always about putting others needs ahead of her own towards the end for Linda. Whatever wrongs there were in her life before, she wanted those to know she was sorry for any pain that may have been caused.

Her life impacted countless hearts and souls, and she leaves behind a storehouse of wonderful memories that will forever keep her close amidst the absence. She will be missed immensely and loved eternally.

She was the beloved mother of Melissa Geisler, and Randy (Natasha) Willis. Loving grandmother of 3. Dear sister of Randall (June), Edward (Christine), Gary, and Kelly (Mary Lou) Marcial. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation for Linda will be held Tuesday, July 21st from 10:00 am until the time of her Funeral Service at 11:30 am at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren, Michigan. Interment will follow at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
