Leo "Dave" Powers, age 69, of Eastpointe, Michigan passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025. Loving husband of Debra. Beloved father of Jacqueline (Rob) Bogovican and David (Ashia) Powers. Dear grandfather of Maxwell and Anastasia and step-grandfather of Vincent Bogovican. He is survived by his siblings, John, Kathy, Michalene, Terri, Ginny, Marie and the late Kenneth. He leaves many loving nieces and nephews.
Dave was a very social person, he enjoyed spending time with his"garage buddies". He was a fan of Hot Rods, BBQs, the Gratiot Cruise, classic cars, trips to Frankenmuth. Dave was the biggest fan of the Christmas Story movie and he especially enjoyed his time with his grandchildren. He was a long time member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Eastpointe, where he loved to volunteer and worked with MCREST at the church.
