Josephine Tony Mitchell

Josephine was born on September 15, 1928 in Detroit, MI to Anthony and Rose Peters (nee Coury).

She is the loving mother to her two sons Eric (Millie) and Gary (Karen) Mitchell. Grandchildren Andrea, Julianne, Eric (Natalie), Natalie Rose and Vanessa. Great grandchild Stella Maryn.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Donald.

Josephine was the ultimate people person. She had a zest for life that was unmatched and an outgoing personality that brought joy to everyone around her. Her door was always open for family and friends to visit, share a laugh, or a tear, and to enjoy life's experiences.

Friends may visit the A H Peters Funeral Home at 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, Michigan on Friday April 1, 2020 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. There will also be additional visitation on Saturday April 2, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday April 2, 2020 also at the A H Peters Funeral Home.

Josephine will be laid to rest next to her husband Don at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan following services.
