Joseph P. Wrobel

Joseph P. Wrobel, age 66, of Clinton Twp, Michigan passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021. He was born December 17, 1954 in Detroit. Joe grew up in Detroit, the fourth child of Felix "Phil" and Mary M. Wrobel. Joe attended St. Bartholomew grade school and Pershing High School. He became the head of the household at the young age of 17 when his Father passed away in 1972. He took on the role, caring for his Mom and youngest sister.

Joe worked hard in the auto industry, the last 20 years at Warren Industries of Clinton Township in Quality Control. He also enjoyed play time, loved the outdoors, gardening, his music and his toys. He loved to spend time on his property near Cadillac, that he lovingly named "North Hamtramck". Most of all he loved his pets, adopting many over the years that needed a good home. He was also a generous donor to many animal shelters and rescues.

He was preceded in death by his Father Felix and Mother Mary. Joe is survived by his sister Judith Krakowski (the late Kenneth) brother Phillip Wrobel (the late Denise) sister Valerie Kujawski (Ronald) sister Francine Kowalik (Alan) and many generations of nieces and nephews.

Visitation and service will be held at AH Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr, Warren, MI 48088. Visitation on Friday Dec. 10th from 6-8pm, and on Saturday Dec. 11th at 2pm, immediately followed by the service at 4pm.

Donations to the animal rescue or shelter of your choice are more than welcome in lieu of flowers.
