John Walter Myers

John (Jack) Myers of Warren, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 2, 2022 at age 88. As a young child, Jack moved with his family from Portage, Pennsylvania to Detroit, Michigan. In 1952, he met the love of his life, Roberta on a blind date. They had a 7 year courtship that endured Jack being drafted to the Army where he served from Nov 1956 to Nov 1958. They were married on April 25, 1959. In October 1959, Jack and Roberta purchased their first and only home where they raised their 4 daughters. Jack's charismatic personality contributed to his successful career as a salesman. He was also known for his generous nature. Jack enjoyed Vegas, playing cards, watching sports and old movies, buying and selling stocks and spending time with his family, especially during the summer around the swimming pool.

He is survived by his devoted daughters: Denise Myers (Steve), Diane Kelley (Chris), Doreen Tilley (Mike), Dawn Collica (T.J.), six grandchildren: Andy, Eric, Don, Cameron, Caleigh, Brendan, and five great-grandchildren: Adam, Abby, Arlo, Madison, and McKenna. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Roberta Myers.

A visitation will be held at AH Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, MI 48088 on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 1:00-6:00pm
