John Frank Mroz, age 73 of Warren , died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Autumn Woods Health Care Facility in Warren. He was born April 15, 1942 in Detroit, son of the late Stanley and the late Amalia (nee: Krawczyk) Mroz.Warren was John's home for most of his life, and he was proud to be a graduate of Warren High School. Following school, John eventually followed the path of many from Warren when he sought a position with the tank arsenal plant, more commonly known as TACOM. A stalwart Warren facility with incredibly rich history, John ultimately landed a job with the plant and extended the utmost in dedicated and loyal service while in their employ.Aside from those duties, John was also involved in a more charitable capacity through his work with the "League for the Handicapped." Though he was compelled to face the challenges of dwarfism, John never let it hinder, nor impede, his daily existence and vision for living life. Through his involvement with the League, it provided him the opportunity of giving to those less fortunate than himself,…and that pretty much defines the character of the man with whom everyone knew in John. As his nephew is quoted in saying, "He was a small man with a big stature and huge heart."John will also be remembered for his strong and abiding faith in God,…an aspect of his life that not only provided him the strength to press on each day, but spoke volumes to the many people who watched that strength gird him up like the wings of an eagle. And so it is only fitting that we shall come together to share in his Funeral Mass and give thanks to God for touching our lives with his unique and genuine spirit. He will be missed immensely and loved eternally.John was the loving son of the late Stanley and Amalia Mroz. Dearest brother of Rose (the late Henry) Loszewski (nee: Mroz), the late Helen (Clem) Nowak (nee: Mroz), and the late Ted Mroz. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Mike Loszewski, Mark Loszewski, Ted Mroz Jr., Paul Mroz, Tom Mroz, Clem Nowak Jr., Maggie Lamb (nee: Mroz), Linda Girard (nee: Loszewski), Christine Quinlan (nee: Nowak), and Caroline Gostkowski (nee: Nowak).
