Jerome Joseph Falkowski

Jerry was born in Hamtramck, MI and raised in Detroit where he attended Holy Name grade school and graduated from St. Anthony High School. Jerry then went on to honorably serve our country in the United States Army. After the Army, Jerry attended the Fire Academy and was hired onto the Warren Fire Department where he worked for 32 years until retiring at the rank of Battalion Chief in 2000. Jerry was married to the love of his life, Regina, for 54 years. He was a good Christian man, and he and Regina had been members of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church for nearly 30 years. Jerry loved to bowl, was an avid fly fisher, and enjoyed going on trips with Regina whenever they could. Most of all, Jerry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was the best husband, dad, and grandpa. Jerry will be missed immensely and loved eternally by his loving family and friends.

Jerry was the beloved husband of Regina. Loving father of Kevin (Michelle), Cheryl (Jim) McDonald, Michael (Tonia), and Lauren Falkowski. Adored grandfather of Casey, Owen, Madison, Chase, Erin, Hope, Ellison, Henry, James, Harrison, and Charlotte. Dear brother of Christine (the late Martin) Mooney, Barbara (Daniel) Schrock, Kenneth Falkowski, and Bernadette (the late Thomas) Farrell.

Visitation for Jerry will be held Friday, November 18th from 3-9pm with a 7pm Scripture at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI. He will lie In State on Saturday from 10:30am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 31555 Hoover Rd, Warren, MI.
