Janice Louise Montgomery sadly passed away November 1, 2024, at the age of 69. She was born Janice Louise Grady on April 4, 1955, to Lucille & Sims Grady. She was their only child and grew up on the North End of Detroit, MI.
Janice graduated from Cooley High School in 1972 and then went on to marry James Montgomery and they had 2 daughters, Tracey & Kawana.
Janice and James eventually separated and she & her daughters and her mom Lucille, all moved to Hamtramck, MI. She and her mom raised Tracey and Kawana, and she worked at Target in Madison Heights, for 13 years, until she retired. Once she retired she loved spending time with her grandkids, playing board games, and card games. She really loved spending time with her family, especially for birthdays, holidays and going on family vacations together.
Janice is survived by her 2 daughters, and 5 grandchildren. The grandchildren are Vaughn, Jayda, Jordan, Jasmine & Janae aka (Lulu).
