Janet Catherine Alexander

Janet Catherine Alexander, age 75, of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025. She was born on July 16, 1949, in Georgetown, Ohio to her late parents Charles and Catherine Brumagen.

Janet had a passion for cooking and baking family recipes to preserve family traditions when celebrating holidays and birthdays. She loved playing slot machines at the Casino, going to Bingo, playing card games and doing arts and crafts. She also loved being out in nature, spending a lot of time at local parks. Janet enjoyed trips with her family to Cedar Pointe, Houghton Lake, and Florida.

Janet’s love for her family was evident in everything she did, and she will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, and many dear friends.

Janet was the beloved wife of Richard of 55 years. Loving mother of Michael (Shannon) and Brian (Sun Ju). Proud grandmother of Dylan, Haley, Ryan, Jade, Preston, and Vanessa. Dear sister of Patricia (the late Jim), Maryann (Michael), the late Cheryl (Jeff), Diane (Mark), Debra (the late Timothy), the late Harold, and the late Charles (Donna). Cherished niece of Jim & Jerri Reesman and Patricia & the late Jerry Shields.

Memorial Visitation for Janet will be held on Saturday, February 8th from 2-6pm with a Memorial Service at 5pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road in Warren, Michigan.
