You could always find James working on one of his many projects. He enjoyed working with his hands, especially, woodworking, making knives, fishing lures, restoring guns or building models. Building models was a favorite of his pastimes; it combined his love of history and craftsmanship. As a history buff, he was interested in anything about World War II, not just building the models of the planes flown, but watching movies, and reading about it as well. A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed taking his camper around Michigan. When his children were young, he was their Boy Scout leader, sharing his love and knowledge of nature with them. He was proud of his classic cars, his Coronet RT and his Challenger, and his motorcycles. Dedicated and hardworking, he spent 40 years as a tool and die stamper for Chrysler.
James is the beloved husband of the late Susan Nagy, married for over 40 years. He is the loving father of James (Andrea) Nagy, Diane Nagy, and Paul Nagy. The cherished grandfather of Cristina (Patrick) Mudd, Paul Nagy, and Adrian Nagy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13, from 9am until the time of the funeral service at 12pm, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren.
