Thought about you Jim last night when I was  on Woodward. We were to Duggans Irish Pub like me and you have done to many times and watched the cars cruising by having a Big Chief burger. Always this time of year I enjoyed bringing the orange General Lee down and parking next to the your orange A12. God Bless

     2 years ago we all lost an Awesome friend, husband and father. I Loved being and talking to Jim.
     When we moved to Florida Jim and I would talk on the phone about cars and life he could always get me laughing.
     Jim was delt a health issue early in life but he kept on living and making friends every where he went.
     Hopefully we can all tell ourselves a story of Jim today that made us laugh, miss you buddy! 🙏♥️🙏♥️

I worked with Jim when I was a young man many years ago and it breaks my heart to hear of his passing. He was always someone I could talk to and he brought joy to our workplace with his personality. We called him Elvis and he always reciprocated with a lengthy and hilarious impression. You were one of the good ones Jim.... Godspeed my friend and my sympathies to your loved ones.

Jim is missed by many. He was a very generous person. A few times if I needed help on a car he would never disappoint. 
He did this because he was kind and never expected anything. He just loved cars and being around true friends. God Bless him and his wonderful family 

Jim and I work at the dealership,. My first car was a 68 GTX,  Many years ago, I worked for Chrysler on the west coast. Therefore, we had many of conversation regarding Chrysler and Ford stories.  Sometime back Jim brought his 68 GTX to work and told me to take my son home in the GTX.  What, a thrill.. Jim,  you will be missed.

Jim, you keep putting  a smile on my face to this day!  You will be missed by everyone including those you did not have a chance to touch yet.  We had some great "life" conversations while on road trips together.  You are one of the best story tellers and I tell your Sears and Roebuck story all the time.  While I can't tell it like you, it makes me laugh and those that I share it with laugh every time!!  Tom

Words cannot express the sadness in my heart with Jim's passing. He was one of a kind and will be missed by so many who knew him. RIP my friend. 

Jim was a dear friend who I was very close to for nearly three and a half decades. We shared far more good times than bad, and were always  there for each other through both.  This didn’t make our beautiful friendship unique though, because I’ve come to learn that Jim made EVERYONE feel like they were that one “special” friend. This is an amazing quality I wish more people had.  Lesson learned, Jimmy. Treat everyone with genuine care and respect.  Missing you something awful, but you’re forever in the hearts of everyone you touched. Which is a lot of very lucky people. 

We've all heard the cliches like "one in a million" or "broke the mold"; to know Jim was to know the definition. He was kind, empathetic, pragmatic, insightful, intelligent, yet simultaneously completely goofy.  Always willing to help, always bringing a smile to your face, he was impossible not to like. He's left an indelible mark on my life, an impossible hole to fill, I will always miss him. 



I have known Jim for many years, I worked with his Dad at Chrysler. At one time I had a six pack Super Bee like Jim’s, we enjoyed working on and driving our muscle cars. We did a lot of road trips to Frankenmuth, Jackson, Lansing, Red Barns, Woodward  set up by Kris Tadey. Jim was a Great guy who Loved helping people and enjoyed his family and friends, NO words can be found to Help with his passing. My prayers to his family it has been my pleasure to have been friends with Jim, I’ll miss you my friend.

Great man with a great sense of humor who will be missed by all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during these very hard times.

I have known Jim for over 10 years. We met at the track,  drag racing our cars at the Pure Stock Drags and FAST/Factory Stock events. We shared an interest in all things vintage and drag racing. Jim helped me with ordering my Mustang from the dealership where he worked. He also hooked me up with my truck that he ordered back in 1997, for another customer, when it came back to the dealer on a trade in. We used that truck to trailer his 1969 Super Bee to the 2019 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in Chicago and to bring home his 1968 Coronet just last September. Jim was so proud to show his Super Bee in Chicago. I will miss Jim a lot, always great conversations and a good time with Jim.

I had many good times with Jim. He used to call me when he was on Woodward because he knew I would be one of the guys who would be out there. We met up and had the coolest two orange cars. I would be in the General Lee and he would be in the A12. Last year when Woodward was not official we met up at Duggan's a few times to eat. Over the Winter I mentioned that my car was shifting funny. He came over my house and he adjusted and tightened the transmission lever. We then took the car for a ride. I did dounuts in the car and Jim thought I was nuts and  was so happy that he said that was one of the funnest times he has ever had. I will always have that video he took for memories. God Bless 🙏

I met Jim through my son Ernesto Garcia, Jr. They worked together at several dealerships.  Both in the car business.  He was my sales guy for over 20 years. He was funny and to the point.  He always said "cars are not cheap" but I will give you the best deal I can. He loved doing the impersonation of "Elvis Presley"  He was very good. He will be missed. RIP Jim
