Dr. Jack L. Johnson, age 93, of Warren, Michigan passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023. Beloved husband of 66 years to Arlene Johnson; cherished father of Steven (Patricia) Johnson and Sheryl (Mark) Brewer; dear grandfather of Justin (Alissa) Brewer, Jaclyn Brewer, and Zachary Johnson; and great-grandfather of Clara Brewer.
Jack earned his PHD in Chemistry from Wayne State University and he worked as a Chemist at General Motors for 33 years. He was a Trustee of the First United Methodist Church in Warren and was a member of the Men's Group, as well. Jack enjoyed coin collecting and spending his leisure time up at his cottage in Manistee, MI.
Jack will lie in state from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM Monday, October 16, 2023 at the First United Methodist Church, 5005 Chicago Rd., Warren, MI. A committal service will occur Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Battle Creek Memorial Park, 2435 West Territorial Rd., Battle Creek, MI.
