Howard married the love of his life, Beverly, on August 6, 1966 and they spent 25 beautiful years together. He was proud to be a veteran of the United States Navy. A truly hardworking man, he spent over 20 years at Chrysler and retired as plant manager. He belonged to the fraternities Loyal Order of Moose and the Masons. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing. He would hunt deer and small game in Gladwin and you could find him fishing anywhere on Lake St. Clair. When relaxing at home he was always watching a baseball, football or hockey game.
Howard is the beloved husband to the late Beverly Masters. The loving father of Edward (Mary) Masters, the late Kimberly (Tim) Sterner, and Kellee (Geno) Wright. Treasured grandfather of Steven Sterner, Michael Sterner, Katie Sterner, Christian Bolda, Kara (Colin) Truba, Elizabeth Sterner, and Alicia Sterner. Dear brother of Patricia (the late Bob) Bolle, Sheila (Tom) Shoemaker, and Penny (the late Butch) Rice.
A visitaiton for Ed will be held Monday, November 25, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, Michigan 48088, followed by a military honors at 7:00 PM.
