Gisela H. Kirstein, age 71, of Detroit, died Friday, July 1, 2011 at St. John Hospital in Detroit. She was born January 2, 1940 the daughter of the late Wilhelm and the late Emmy (nee: Otto) Schlangen. Gisela was inducted into the Michigan Music Hall of Fame, held the position of German Program Director at the WCAR radio station, and was also a beautiful fashion model. She was the beloved wife of Ulrich "Uli". Dear mother of Yvonne (Gary) Beauchaine and Manuela (Darrel) Anderson. Loving grandmother of Carson, Devereaux, Chad, and Matt. Arrangements entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road).
