Genevieve Lottie "Jean" Marek, age 75 of Warren, died Tuesday, June 01, 2004 at her home. She was born March 13, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late Walter Szymczak and the late Viola (nee: Zdyrski) Szymczak. She is the beloved wife of Stephen Pep Marek. Dearest mother of Stephen T. (Nanci), and David Marek. Loving grandmother of Lorri, and Brian Marek. Sister of Josephine (Lincoln) Chrysler. Mrs. Marek was raised in Detroit and moved to Warren over 20 years ago. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening, cooking and keeping her home immaculate and just right. On weekends she would occasionally attend Mass at Sweetest Heart of Mary Church with her son David. Visitation will be Thursday June 3rd from 5-9 pm and Friday 1-9 pm, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common, (12 mile). A Rosary will be Friday 7:30 pm.
