Gary Marvin Schaible

Gary Marvin Schaible, age 57, of Warren, Michigan passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022. He was born on April 21, 1965 to Marvin and Elaine Schaible. Gary met Starr, the love of his life, on August 8, 1984, when he agreed to go on a blind date. Even a tornado couldn't keep these two apart; they were simply "meant to be." Gary and Starr were married on October 21, 1989.

Gary was popular and charismatic; people and animals were just drawn to him. He also enjoyed staying active; biking and hiking with Mike.

Beloved husband of 33 years to Starr; adored dad of Bruce (his Siberian Husky); dear son of Marvin and the late Elaine; loving brother of Linda (Joe) Willinger, Kathy Schaible, Kevin (Yin) Schaible, and Susan (Michael) Kaferle; cherished son-in-law of Nancy and the late James McDaniel II; loving brother-in-law of James (Shannen) McDaniel III; and uncle of Austin, Trenten, Cheyenne, Phoenix, Brandon, Jacob, Nathan, Nolan, Adam, and Justin.

A visitation for Gary will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at D.S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, Michigan 48093, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Starr by using Venmo Account: Sylvia Schaible@Sylvia Starr or donation envelopes will be provided at the funeral home. She will be using the donations to donate park benches in Gary's name to some of his favorite local parks.
