Frank Jack Schiro passed away on Sunday, April 2nd, 2023, at the age of 71. Jack was born on May 2, 1951 to Frank and Antoinette Schiro [Vermiglio] in Detroit, Michigan, where he joined his sisters Grace and Andrea (Jody).
Jack has two sons, Jacob and Joshua. Jack loved his Sons and Sisters unconditionally. He showed his love through acts of kindness; frequently offering to fix, build, maintain, or reinforce anything anybody would let him get his hands on. Jack loved spending time in his garage. He would do his handy-work there, exercise, or enjoy the company of friends. Jacks friends, and family, enjoyed his quick wit and humorous stories. Jack was an essential worker in the Grocery industry, from which he retired from. Later in life, he took up a passion for golf; a game he grew to love. Jack made friends and some lifelong relationships throughout his endeavors. Relationships that supported him and contributed to his happiness.
Jack was private and independent, with a strong will. You would never know, as a young man, he had survived the polio, that permanently affected one of his legs. Jack once said, when he arrived at the Pearly Gates, he wanted to be granted the ability to, gracefully, skip from one foot to the next. We know, in our hearts, Jack has been granted that wish and is at peace, along side his sister Grace, who passed away just twenty-two days before him.
