Emily Pauline Bylicki

Emily Pauline Bylicki, age 93, was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. She died peacefully at home. Emily was born September 28, 1924 in Detroit, daughter of the late Simon Krisak and the late Mary Krisak (nee Smerek).She courageously faced cancer. During this struggle, Emily found complete peace with her illness demonstrating many times over to everyone around her that God's grace in her life was sufficient to sustain her on her last earthly journey.Emily was the beloved wife of the late Alfred and the devoted mother to Robert, Priscilla (Robert) Kloc, and Lawrence. She was also the much loved grandmother of Stacy, Jeffrey (Katie), Michele (Shane), Brian (Samantha), and Gregory. Great-grandmother of Sophia, Eva, Logan, Madison, Eleanor, Brody, C.J. and Karie. Emily was also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was the dear sister of her late siblings; Frank, John, Paul, Helen, Mary Krisak, Rose Senall, Agnes Borys, Anne Gensor, Margaret Roman, and Dorothy Stark.Emily grew up in Detroit and was a very active member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish for over 50 years. More recently, she was a member of St. Louise de Marillac Parish in Warren.Emily loved her God with all of her heart and soul. Her life was a beautiful testimony of this love. Her unwavering faith and constant witness of God's grace touched the lives and hearts of so many people during her nearly 94 years with us.Her family finds comfort in the words of Jesus: "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, even if he dies, shall live; and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die." John 11 25:26.Visitation for Mrs. Bylicki will be held on Sunday, September 16th from 3-9 pm, with a 7 PM evening Rosary Service, at D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Road) in Warren. She will lie in state on Monday from 9:30 am until the time of her Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Louise Catholic Church in Warren.Please share memories of Emily at her guest book above.
