Dusan Batanjski

With his loving family by his side, we are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Dušan Batanjski, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.

Beloved husband to Dušica, cherished father to Biljana and Milorad (Ruža), and loving “Deda” to Milena, Marko, Dušan, and Dijana. Dušan’s grandchildren were his pride & joy. He also leaves behind his dear brother Milorad, and was a proud uncle to Ljubomir, Siniša, and Vojislav (Dragana).

Dušan immigrated to Detroit, Michigan, in 1973 from Novo Miloševo, Serbia, joining his parents and brother to build a new life in America. Through hard work & determination, he created a beautiful life that will live on through the generations of his family.

A visitation for Dusan will be held Monday, November 25, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, Michigan 48088. An instate will occur Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at St. Lazarus Serbian Orthodox Church, 4575 Outer Drive East, Detroit, Michigan 48234. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral service at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, 38425 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, Michigan 48038.
