In her younger years, Doris found great joy in ballroom dancing with her beloved husband, Ted. The pair danced for fun as well as competed in many tournaments. Before becoming a mother, Doris worked as the bookkeeper at Hall GMC. Doris was a devoted member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, where she was deeply involved. A member of the Women’s Circle, she could be found helping with many fundraisers and events, serving the church and its community with unwavering dedication and faith. Music was another great love of Doris’s life. She was a talented piano player, and her home was filled with the rich tones of her baby grand piano.
Doris was the very embodiment of grace, class, and elegance throughout her life. She carried herself with a timeless poise that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her warm smile, kind heart, and unfailingly positive outlook defined her presence. She never spoke an unkind word about anyone. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those to have known her.
Beloved wife of the late Ted Mijal, Doris was a loving mother to Tom (Sherrie) Mijal, and a proud, devoted grandmother to Jessica Mijal and Daniel Mijal.
Visitation Thursday, April 17th from 4pm to 8pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren. Visitation Friday, April 18th from 9:30am until time of Funeral Service at 10am at A.H. Peters Funeral Home in Warren. Doris will be laid to rest at White Chapel Cemetery. Doris was a charitable woman, and as such, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
