Doris L. Anderson

Doris Lavera Anderson, age 87, of Roseville, Michigan, passed away on January 13, 2023. Doris was born on April 19, 1935, in Lincoln Township, Michigan, to her loving parents William and Elizabeth “Esther” Badgley.

Doris was always at her happiest when she was around her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her great great grandchild. Any picture she took with them she had the biggest smile. They all loved to hear her tell stories of her childhood and growing up on the family farm. She worked in bakeries most of her life and she also loved to bake and cook for her family. They always had a fresh homemade pie for any holiday get together. Her beloved 1989 Cadillac El Dorado was always something she loved to show off. She bought it with her own money brand new and kept it in its perfect original state. Doris loved things to be beautiful around her. Her home was always decorated flawlessly and she continuously updated it with new wallpaper and knickknacks. Country music was her favorite, especially the classics like Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, and Dolly Parton.

Doris is the beloved wife of 38 years to the late Orville Anderson. The loving mother of Debra (Daniel) Belcher, Kenneth (Agnes) Anderson, Jennifer Bowen, and Bonnie Anderson. The cherished grandmother of Heather Anglin, Michael (Billie) Ragland, Jason Pomaville, Morgan Weston, Julia Ragland, Anthony Bentley, Travis (Mandy) Belcher, Brittany Weston, Danielle (Andrew) Belcher, Avery (Victoria) Nelson, and Michaela (Maciej) Pilipovic. Treasured great grandmother of Alexis Ohlinger, Cesar Macias, Lennon Ragland, Lucia Romano, Mackenzie Stull, and great great grandmother of Xavier Domke. Dear sister of the late Walt Badgley, the late Kenny Badgley, the late Lucille Germaine, the late Alva Ahearn, and the late Virginia Bouck.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, from 2pm until 8pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren.

In lieu of flowers donations made to the family would be greatly appreciated.
