Dolores Irene Marten

Born in Detroit to the late Paul and Emma Lossin. Dolores worked her entire career as a secretary in the Detroit Public School System until her retirement. In her free time, Dolores enjoyed quilting, working on jigsaw puzzles, and playing card games. She also looked forward to the yearly trips to different parts of Florida that she took with her late husband and his brother, John, and her sister-in-law Jeanette. Dolores treasured time spent with her family and memories shared together. She will be dearly missed and forever loved.

Beloved wife of the late Arthur for 67 years. Dear mother of Donna, Barbara (Robert Piltz), and the late Kenneth (Phyllis). Cherished grandmother of Derek (Lacricia) Marten, Laura (Jack III) Mazzara, and Lisa (Matthew Matey) Marten. Proud great grandmother of 4. Caring sister of the late Etta, Marvin, Harriet and Arnold.

Visitation Thursday 2-8PM at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, at Masonic, in Warren. Instate Friday 9:30AM until time of service at 10AM at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 29675 Gratiot Avenue, in Roseville. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Parkinson’s Foundation.
