

Diane H. Bogdanski, age 69 of Sterling Heights and formerly a resident of Warren for over 30 years, died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy. Diane was born October 14, 1939 in Highland Park, Michigan the daughter of the late Casmir Dobrzelewski and the late Helen (nee: Bruszewska) Dobrzelewski. Diane was raised in Detroit and graduated from St. Florian High School in Hamtramck the class of 1957. Mrs. Bogdanski was employed as the executive secretary to Mayor Bonkowski in Warren for over 6 years and as of late has worked for Macomb Community College in the recruiting and admissions department. When Mrs. Bogdanski was not working she could be found devoting her time to her church as a volunteer and Eucharistic Minister. Her fun time was spent at the local casinos or cooking for her family during the many holiday celebrations. Her travels included her devotion to her Catholic heritage, visiting Medugorje, Bosnia and Lourdes, France. Mrs. Bogdanski was the beloved wife of the late Richard. She is the dearest mother of Patrice (Mary) Bogdanski, Richard (Cathryn) Bogdanski, David (Michalle) Bogdanski, Timothy Bogdanski, and the loving grandmother of Chris, Jackie, and Ryan. Also surviving are her dear sisters, Ilene (Ken) Stahlbusch, Pat Dobrzelewski, Mary Ann Dobbs, and Sylvia (Ralph) Ziolkowski. Visitation for Diane will be Friday from 2-9 pm with a 3:00 pm Scripture Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 mile). Mrs. Bogdanski will lie in state Saturday 9:00 am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church until the time of the Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Roman Pasieczny. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Please share memories of Diane at her guest book.
