Delores is the beloved wife of Harold. The loving mother of Janice (Michael) Nowakowski and Thomas (Jill) Smith. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Prong, Heather (Marcin) Sudol, Michael Nowakowski, Kevin Smith and Kara Smith. Treasured great grandmother of Evelyn Prong, Audrey Prong, Gabriel Sudol, Brayden Sudol, and Nathan Sudol. She was preceded in death by her siblings Marvin (Lucille) Forth, Shirley (Earl) Schlitt. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Delores loved vacations on the waterfront and beaches of Oscoda. Delores loved Bethlehem Lutheran Church and was actively involved in the Ladies League. She was also picked as Lutheran Woman of the Year. Most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
An instate for Delores will be held Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 1:30 PM until the time of the service at 2:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088. Visitation will start immediately following the service and will go until 8:00 PM.
