Born on November 4th, 1960 in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI the world was blessed with a kind and loving soul. Craig’s sense of humor and undeniable charisma elevate the spirits of all those around him. He was a rock, a true pillar of strength and fortitude, qualities that only grew stronger with age. Craig loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was willing to do anything for anyone, expecting nothing in return.
Craig spent his career in tool and dye achieving 30 years with Ford Motor Company, a testament to his steadfast dedication and tireless work ethic. Craig was UAW local 862 KY and 2280 MI. He loved all sports, but golf was his true passion, hoping one day to retire to Florida enjoying the serenity of the greens, doing what he loved.
Craig’s relationships with his loved ones is where he truly shined. The love he held for his family knew no bounds, his generosity and compassion extended to all those who knew him.
Craig was the beloved son of William Riley and the late Barbara Riley, loving brother to Patricia (Michael) Fisher, uncle to Kristina (Alberto) Todaro, Carolyn (Kevin) Hatzenbuhler, Michael (Scott) Fisher/Wodowski, Lexi (Dominic), Lauren and Nathan. Also survived by his former partner and one true love Debbie, and all his cousins, family, and friends. Craig was surrounded by so many unbelievable friends that were such an important part of his life, the three of his closest being Dave Klosk who was like a brother for many years, Larry Dearth, his Kentucky brother, and the late Bobby Lasky who is now his brother in heaven. Your love and friendship always touched our hearts and Craig love you all so much.
In our gathering, we acknowledge the pain of our loss, but also celebrate the legacy of Craig Steven Riley that will live on. Let the strength, kindness, and dedication he emulated until the very end serve as an example to us all!
