Christine Phyllis Cassisi, a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and aunt was welcomed to heaven on December 6, 2023. Christine, age 73, was born on December 13, 1949 to John and Sally (nee Hines) Cassisi.
Christine is survived by her mother Sally Boik, daughter Jennifer Miller (Gary), son James Flannery II, granddaughter Jordan Miller, brothers John Cassisi (Elaine) and Dennis Cassisi (Grace), nieces Melissa Ahler (Ryan) Lauren Barber (Sean), Jenna Cassisi and her dear dog Giuseppe. Christine was predeceased by her father John Cassisi step-father Jerome Boik, and grandchildren Jacob and Alexandria.
During her career she was an administrative assistant at General Motors and the International UAW.
Visitation Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 3-8 p.m. at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home 30009 Hoover Rd, Warren, MI 48093. Instate Friday, December 15, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. until time of mass at 10:00am at St. Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families Catholic Church, 25320 Van Dyke Ave, Center Line, MI 48015. Interment will follow at St. Clement Cemetery adjacent to the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of your choice or the American Heart Association.
