Charles was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, known for his loving nature and his passion for family. For over 55 years, Charles was happily married to his beloved wife, Frances. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising five children and later welcoming six grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy. Charles was a proud family man, and his love for them knew no bounds.
An avid Detroit sports fan, Charles had a special place in his heart for the Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings, and was always eager to watch the games. In his downtime, he enjoyed spending sunny days by the pool, hosting BBQs, and sharing great meals with his family. His talent in the kitchen was unmatched—he took great pride in preparing home-cooked meals, often creating dishes that became family favorites.
Charles was also known for his unwavering affection for his cat, Stanley, who was a cherished companion throughout the years. He will be deeply missed by his loving children, grandchildren, and friends. His legacy of kindness, humor, and devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Charles was the beloved husband of the late Frances. Loving father of Stephen (Gia), Andrew, Jennifer (Joe) Nowicki, Paul, and Chris (Kristie). Adored grandfather of Erica, Jordan, the late Conner, Austin, Ashton, and Aiden. He was predeceased by his siblings Albert, Joseph, and Joanne.
Visitation for Charles will be held on Thursday, January 16th from 4-8pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road in Warren. He will lie In State on Friday, January 17th at 9:30am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 10am at St. Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families- St. Clement Site, 25320 Van Dyke, Center Line.
