Charlene F. Trouse

Charlene Fay Trouse, 87, of Warren, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Loving mother of Daniel Trouse, Mary (James) Booker, Leah (Mark) Stirnemann, Mark (Rebecca) Trouse, James (Ronda) Trouse, and Rebekah Trouse. Grandmother of 16 and Great-Grandmother of 24. Sister to Dayton (Annette) Cook, David Cook, and Nora (Lee Ott) Smith. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Everett Trouse, son Timothy (Brenda) Trouse, and sister Shirley (Lowell) Baker.

Charlene was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on February 11, 1936, to William and Lucille (Reaves) Cook. She was the second of five children. She graduated from Clawson High School in 1953. Charlene married her dear husband, Everett, on August 6, 1955, and they had seven children. She was a homemaker for most of her adult life but once the children left home she became a housekeeper until she retired.

Her grandchildren were the ones who brought joy in her later years. She also enjoyed reading novels and loved to sing hymns.

Visitation from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 18, 2023, followed by a memorial service at noon at Troy Christian Chapel, 400 E. Long Lake Road, Troy, Michigan 48085.
