Brian was a dedicated skilled trade’s toolmaker for 28 years at the Ford Motor Company. He was a hard worker but would always find time to be with his family. Family came first to Brian and he loved taking trips up to his daughter Brianna’s farm to see her and his grandson, Elon, and always looked forward to spending Father’s Day with his son Kenneth. He would surprise his wife, Anna, with gifts throughout the year and made sure she had anything she wanted. Everyone came first, never putting himself before anyone. Every Thanksgiving he made it a point to ensure every guest had their seat ready at the table. He liked to stay active, playing softball in many leagues and hunting. He would take trips up north to go hunting and bow hunting for deer. Music was big for Brian and he would spend time with his family going to different country music concerts at Pine Knob. The last concert they went to together was for Brad Paisley and they were in the front row together. For fun he would play the lotto, scratch offs, and go to the casino. When he was relaxing at home, he would put on a romantic comedy movie, usually his favorite Dirty Dancing. Brian was a man of few words but everyone always knew that he cared and loved them.
Brian is the beloved husband of 32 years of Anna Pefley. The loving father of Brianna (John) Maison, and Kenneth Pefley. Cherished grandfather of Elon Maison. Dear brother of Ralph (Anita) Pefley and Rich (Brenda) Pefley, and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his first-born son Sean Pefley who has spent most his life with his mother but Brian loved him deeply. Brian is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Maureen Pefley, his niece Elysia Pefley, and his mother and father in law Donica and Kenneth Duty, who he had a special bond with.
