Barbara A. Mucha, age 78 of Macomb, died Friday, March 29, 2013 at home. She was born on February 4, 1935 in Detroit, daughter of the late Thomas and the late Martha (nee: Polcyn) Grzywacz,If you're looking at Barbara's work history, you'll find that she was an integral part of the operations and patient care for a number of doctor's over the years. If you're considering her skills and talents as a homemaker, then your heart and mind will be swept back to the memories of her wonderful home-cooked meals, and the impressive works of art that were found in the wedding cakes she produced. But, perhaps, there's no mystery in the fact that her greatest passion was found in the exercising of her faith.A devout woman of God, Barbara's faith was strong and true,…and her sweetest blessings were those derived from sharing it with others. She was very involved at church and a familiar face to many. Being especially fond of God's little ones, Barbara's work with the Children's Liturgy of the Word impacted countless young lives over the years and helped to mold and prepare their hearts and minds for God's leading. Barbara's faith took on even greater meaning through another notable aspect of her life,…her ministry with the theatrical company, "Entertainment Anonymous." Seeking to share their faith in a unique and moving way, this troupe of believer's took to the stage with messages of hope and strength, and Barbara was an integral part of the cast. And not merely an actor, she was also the company's Director for over 10 years. A caring and compassionate wife, mother and grandmother, Barbara's life and ministry were truly a testament to the depths of the servant's heart she possessed. She loved her family and friends immeasurably, and each moment in their company was a memorable blessing. She leaves behind a legacy that will be honored, cherished, and drawn from with each loving remembrance. She'll be missed immensely and loved eternally. She was the beloved wife of Henry P. Mucha, and the late Stanley Burke. Dearest mother of Judi Supanich, Mary (Ken) Soave, Margaret (Phil) Williams, and Coni (Jim) Schmidt. Loving grandmother of Mary Therese, Gail Louise, Sally Ann, Janet Suzanne, Emily Catherine, John Francis, Zachariah, Aimee Elizabeth, Alexandria Rose, Thomas Frank, Amanda Leigh, Meredith Ann, and great-grandmother of Deidre, Jaida, Hayden, and Skye Catherine.
