Arlene Ann Gawlik, age 78, of Warren, Michigan passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Dear sister of Virginia LaHaie, the late Lorraine Gierosky, and the late Norman Gawlik; cherished aunt, great-aunt, and great-great-aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Arlene was born March 25, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Martha Gawlik. Arlene attended St. Cunegunda and St. Anne Elementary Schools and St. Ladislaus and St. Clements High Schools. She majored in business and worked as a secretary for several large corporations.
Arlene enjoyed singing and was a member of Industry Sings. She was also a member of St. Martin de Porres Parish where she sang in the Adult and Funeral Choirs and joined the ACWC.
A visitation for Arlene will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM; with a 4:00 p.m. Rosary, at D.S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, Michigan 48093. Arlene will lie in state at 10:30 a.m. until time of mass at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at St. Martin de Porres, 31555 Hoover Rd, Warren, MI 48093. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
