Alphonse Ronald Wyrembelski, age 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2024 surrounded by family. Alphonse, a man of love, faith, and dedication will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Alphonse was born and raised in Posen, Michigan to Alexander and Helen Wyrembelski along with seven other siblings. He was dedicated to his faith and family, took care of people, and was a caregiver himself to his son-in-law Thomas Sloney and his wife Marie Wyrembelski. He was always available for his kids and grandkids.
He was a hardworking carpenter, a career he loved, and continued working other jobs even after retiring from carpentry. Alphonse had hardworking ethics—even at 92, he would have loved to still be able to work.
A man of many hobbies, Alphonse enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved hunting in his hometown of Posen, Michigan. He also loved baseball, fishing, football, casinos, and horse racing. Al was a kind man and enjoyed people. He was a strong man who fought through many battles because he loved life.
Alphonse is survived by his children Brian (Cecilia Wideen) Wyrembelski, Annmarie (Steve) LaDuke, and John (Margaret) Wyrembelski; his grandchildren Alexander (Sarah) Wyrembelski, and Daniel Wyrembelski; and his siblings Pat Loftis of Cookeville, Tennessee, and Maxine (Jerry) Block of Macomb, Michigan. Preceded in death by his parents Alexander and Helen Wyrembelski, his wife Marie Wyrembelski, and his siblings Florence Skowronek, Henry Wyrembelski, Ray Wyrembelski, Sylvester Wyrembelski, and Mark Wyrembelski.
Alphonse will lie instate on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 12:00 pm, until the time of his Funeral Mass at 12:30 pm, held at St. Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families Catholic Church, located at 25320 Van Dyke, Center Line, Michigan 48015.
