Retired Master Sgt. USAF William W. Hocker Died on April 8th 2012 at the age of 79. Born on February 4th 1933 in California, Mr. Hocker was a resident of Charles County. In addition to serving under the Office of Special Investigation, Mr. Hocker was employed as a Federal Investigator for The Department of Housing and Urban Development. He concluded his longtime career in Investigations as a Background Investigator for The State department. He enjoyed golf, road trips and showing cars. He was especially fond of his 1976 Monte Carlo.
Mr.Hocker is survived by his son William A. Hocker and his wife Chris, daughter Bonita Snyder, son Bruce Hocker, grandchildren Matt and Jason Hocker, Cody and Cheryl Snyder, Carrolyn Boswell and Kimberly Hocker, great grandson Ashton Boswell and his sister Helen Beounites. He is preceded in death by his wife Edith May Hocker.
Family will receive friends at The Huntt Funeral Home 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, MD. 20601 on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM . The Rev. Bob Buehler will officiate a short 7PM service that evening with main Funeral services to be held on Monday April 16th 2012 at 12:30 PM. Interment Military Honors will take place at The MD. Veteran's Cemetery located in Cheltenham, MD.
