Solita "Solly" Villacrusis Clark died December 18, 2010 at her residence in Bryans Road, Maryland. Her family was by her side. Equally as devoted to her family, she ensured that all her children attended Catholic schools in the area, St. Mary's Star of the Sea, St. Mary's Academy, and St. Mary's Ryken High Schools. God, diversity, pride, and family unity were staple principles in how she raised her children. Constant involement in church attendance and daily prayers were a big part of her household. But more importantly she lived it through loving every person as the Lord Jesus would that came into her life. You could always count on a smile or a laugh from her. Her love of travel always included at least one of her children to ensure they experience other places, history, and the pride of her and her husband's ethnic Filipino roots. Not including her travel because of her husband's Air Force service, her travels included the Philippines on several occasions as well as religious based pilgrimages to, Italy, France, Israel, and Portugal. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at The Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Star Of The Sea Catholic Church, Indian Head, Maryland on Thursday, December 23, 2010. Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery, Indian Head, Maryland. Father Golas will officiate. www.hunttfunerals.com
