Rose Hart Armstrong

Rose was the oldest daughter of Agnes Cecilia (Harlan) Hart and Matthew Francis Hart of Conemaugh Pennsylvania. Rose leaves her mark on the world through her three sons, Eric Ryan Armstrong and Saul David Armstrong, both residing in Maryland; and Luke O’Neil Armstrong, residing in Texas. Rose was blessed with seven grandchildren, which she adored and loved spent all her free time visiting.

Rose is also survived by four siblings who will miss her dearly, Dennis Matthew Hart, residing in Monticello Georgia, retired USAF, and avid fisherman; Phyllis Marie (Hart) Hunt residing in Front Royal Virginia; Shirley Ann (Hart) Dabney, residing in Johnson City Tennessee; and Agnes Cecilia (Hart) Feather residing in Limestone Tennessee.

Rose graduated from Bishop McCort High School in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She later received here B.S. in nursing from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland and subsequently fulfilled her career ambitions as a registered nurse assigned to the Walter Reed Medical Center, Washington D.C., where she practiced until she retired last year.

Family and friends will attend services for Rose, which will be held in Waldorf Maryland, at the Huntt Funeral Home on September 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM.
