Phyllis Maynard died January 31, 2011 at Georgetown Hospital, Washington, D.C.. Mrs. Maynard was a resident of Waldorf, Maryland. Mrs. Maynard was born January 31, 1941 in West Virginia. Survived by her daughters Terri Hayden (Patrick) Hines, and Angelia (Randy) Randall, sister Norma Lester Hodges, brothers, Sherman Lester, Jr., Richard Lester and Gary Lester. Grandchildren, Melanie Hayden, Jenifer Hayden and Matthew David Randall. Predeceased by her husband David Maynard, parents, Sherman and Violet Lester and brothers Rodney and Michael Lester. Mrs. Maynard was retired from C&P Telephone. She had a passion for feeding the deer, raccoons and birds. She enjoyed photography and painting but what her family attributes mostly to her was that she always put her family before herself. Contributions may be made the The American Lung Association. Family will receive friends at The Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland on Friday, February 4, 2001 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. where services will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 11:30 am. Burial will take place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, Maryland. A celebration of life will follow at The Waldorf Moose Lodge, located in White Plains.
