Joyce H. Crockett, 78, of Waldorf, MD passed away on June 30th, 2023 after a long battle with breast cancer.
Joyce was born on October 16, 1944 to Elijah and Lucy Kirkland in Arlington, VA. After graduating from Hoffman and Boston High, she went into the workforce and retired from AT&T after 30 years of service. She returned to work shortly thereafter working for Shook, Hardy and Bacon Law firm until 2017. She was a kind, caring and giving person who put the needs of her family before her own.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Andrea “Lynn” Oliver (Chris McCann); two sister, Shirley Young and Judy “Diane” Kirkland; A host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
No services will take place, as Joyce requested, but we do appreciate your love and support during this difficult time.
