Howard Winston Herrington died peacefully, Friday March, 1, 2024, at Sagepoint Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, La Plata, Maryland. His beloved wife of 40 years, Lauretta (Laurie) Jackson Herrington, proceeded him in death, December 16, 2023.
He served his country in the United States Navy, retiring after 20 honorable years, as a Senior Chief Petty Officer, Data Processing. Howard was later employed by MCI Telecommunications, and worked several years, as a Computer Analyst.
Howard and Laurie shared a happy life, and enjoyed spending time together, traveling, teaching others about the Bahai Faith, and spending time with family, and friends.
He is survived by three children, Wanda (Percell), Darrell, and Robert, grandchildren, and a host of family and friends
