Gwen Edwina Donovan of Waldorf, Maryland died on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D. C. Gwen was the wife of the late Peter F. Donovan; mother of Cathy Oroian of Lusby, Maryland and Casey Donovan and her husband Donald Martin of Baltimore, Maryland; sister of Linda Walker, Janice Dudley and Ina Kunkle; grandmother of Ayla Oroian and Maranda Pickeral. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the Huntt Funeral Home, Waldorf, Maryland from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, Maryland. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church, Waldorf, Maryland.
