William Bill James Hanson

December 13, 1950 – May 27, 2014

Bill Hanson, 63, of Round Rock, departed Tuesday in Waco. Visitation in Waco will be Friday, May 30, 5:00-7:00 pm at Connally/Compton Funeral Home. Visitation in Austin will be at Bethany UMC on Saturday from 8:30-9:30 am. Celebration of Life will be at Bethany UMC at 10:00am Saturday, followed by graveside services at Waco Memorial Park at 1:30 pm. Pallbearers will Samuel Woods, BJ Allen, Micah Lamb, Joshua Lamb, Glenn Thompson, James Kunke. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronnie Lamb, Bob Cozby, Warren Cozby, Jr., and Oliver Cozby.

Bill was born in Waco and served in Vietnam in the 1st Marine Division. He was an LVN and later retired from Target.

He is survived by his wife Ceci Hanson, son Samuel Woods and wife Emmy of Virginia, daughters Miriam Woods of Indiana and Devorah Allen and husband BJ of Houston, and one grandson; cousins Joyce and Ronnie Lamb of Robinson and many more cousins and relatives.
