William Edward “Bill” Golding, age 93 passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 in Waco, Texas. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 1, at Clover Hill Cemetery in Lott, Texas. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 1, at Clover Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.
Bill was born on July 13, 1927 in Waco, Texas. Following his service in the United States Navy and United States Air Force, he returned home to Waco where he was a longtime resident. He was a previous owner with his wife, Mary Ann Golding, of Texas Tape and Label in Waco. Bill married the love of his life, Mary Ann Golding, in Giddings, Texas on May 31, 1957. He enjoyed watching The Weather Channel, experimental aircrafts, flying, reading and visiting with family and friends. Bill was a member of the Commemorative Air Force Association, Waco Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter #59 and The Masonic Grand Lodge of Texas. Bill was a devout Christian and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Waco.
Bill is survived by a loving family including Norman and Edie Gibson, Betty and Clifford Hall, Ramona and Chet Chesnut, Patty Ransdell, Leon and Jill Meredith, Gayle Golding, Todd Sims and numerous nieces and nephews.
