Scott Milton Lloyd passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 at his home with his wife Judy and loved ones by his side. Scott was born on September 28, 1941 in Corpus Christi, Texas to parents, Bramlow Lloyd and Adelaide Scott Lloyd.
Scott grew up in Floydada, Texas and Dalhart, Texas, graduating from Dalhart High School in 1960. He then attended Texas Tech University. Scott worked at Central Texas Iron Works for 23 years and Jewel Concrete for 10 years. Scott was a member of the Centex Corvette Club. He served on the Corvette Club board, the Windmill Hill Association board, Philo Dance Club, the Vestry of Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit. Along with many other interests, Scott enjoyed his monthly breakfast club with his Dalhart friends, and his yearly camp out group from Floydada. In 1979 Scott married Judy Willis Adams uniting his two children and her two children into a loving family. Scott was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Danna Lloyd, his mother-in-law, Louise Willis.
Scott is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Judy, his son, Dr. Scott David Lloyd and wife, Jennifer, Keith Adams and wife, Joan, Stephanie Bradford and husband Mark. His grandchildren, Ryan Lloyd, Nicole Munyon and husband, Morrell, Hallie Bradford, and Matthew Bradford, sister-in-law, Janeth Kuykendall and brother-in-law, Monty Willis.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Rosemound Cemetery with Reverend Jason Ingalls officiating. Memorials in Scott’s name may be given to Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit 1624 Wooded Acres Dr. Waco, Texas 76710.
