Robert H. "Bob" Miller

Funeral services will be 10:00a.m., Wednesday, July 13, at Beacon Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Reggie Blake and Pastor Harley Gordon officiating. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00p.m., Tuesday, July 12, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors.

Bob was born April 18, 1932 on the family farm in Bosque County, the 6th child of the late Robert and Zelma (Zander) Miller. He worked at several different jobs before joining the Navy and served on the LST stationed at Norfolk, VA. After his discharge, he met and married Katherine Stone of McGregor on November 13, 1954. He was the proud father of 3 sons, Gerry, Terry, and Darrell.

He worked for several companies before his employment with T.S.T.I. After 22 years of service he retired from TSTC as Supt. of Bldg. Maintenance.

Bob enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, boating and fixing anything that was broke. He was a member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed meeting people and making them smile.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and 6 nephews.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Katherine Miller; sons, Gerry Miller, of Woodway, Terry Miller and wife Carol, of Belton, and Darrell and wife Shelly, of West; granddaughters, Amanda and Melanie; grandsons, Justin and wife Kristina and Tyson; and great granddaughter, Camilla. He is also survived by brother, David; sister, Alleen and husband Les; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends as well as his church family.
