Martha Lynn Farmer, 78 of Waco, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 in Waco, Texas. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27th at Rosemound Cemetery in Waco. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 26th at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Farmer was born on September 30. 1940 to Eugene and Stella (Draper) Locke in Waco, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Waco and a homemaker. Martha graduated from University High School of Waco in 1958. She married the love of her life, Henry E. Farmer on June 19, 1959 in Marlin, Texas. They celebrated 55 years of marriage together. She enjoyed reading, watching movies; especially spending time with her grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry E. Farmer, Sr., brother, Douglas Locke; sister, Betsy Snelson.
Survivors include her sons, Larry Farmer of Waco, and Henry Farmer, Jr., of San Antonio; daughters, Laurie Mazza and husband, Rick of Waco, Tracie Roe and husband, Robert of Waco, Jenny Bohannon and husband, Bob of Houston; many grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
