Joseph Michael Ocasio

Joseph passed away Sunday 1/3/21 in San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by his children Bryson 15, Braylon and Branson 11, and Braxton 5. He leaves behind his mother Cynthia Reyes Ocasio, father Jose Ocasio Velez, sister Ciara and brother Jeffrey, paternal grandparents Cesar Ocasio Santa and Elba Velez Berrios, former wife the love of his life Laura Ocasio, along with beloved nieces and nephews Karaleena, Eleanora, Nathaniel, Joel Jr., Ezequiel, Jeremiah, Mileena, and Vincent. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Anita and Vincent Reyes. Joseph was a 2000 graduate of Waco High School where he played football for the Lions. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved watching his Cowboys alongside his children and family. Joseph enjoyed being with his children more than anything.

Joseph worked as a Supervisor for Metals 2 Go in Hewitt, TX for seven years before moving to San Antonio. He began working for Del Sol, LLC in 2019 as a Contract Driver. His work took him all over the country, delivering goods from coast to coast. Joseph enjoyed his work greatly and took pride in making his deliveries on time.

Throughout his life, Joseph met and touched many lives. He was beloved by everyone he met and made it his mission to take care of everyone around him.

Services will be held at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors on Monday January 11, 2021 from 6-8pm. There will be a viewing and religious service.
