Jeffrey Dean Riley, age 68, of Waco, Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Jeffrey D. Riley, a lover of old movies and sports, was born January 30, 1955 in Kingsville, Texas. He was the fourth of nine children. He grew up in Waco, Texas. After graduating high school, Jeffrey enlisted in the USAF, serving seven honorable years as an air traffic controller- a very intelligent man.
He worked for the Levi-Strauss Company and prepared taxes for family and friends. He was very gifted with numbers.
He was a sports fanatic, who was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, which caused a friendly rivalry with one of his sons Rasheed. Jeffrey could not understand anyone not supporting the Dallas Cowboys. "GO COWBOYS!"
While in the military, Jeffrey met Carol Bush. This union brought two sons, Jay-Dee and Rasheed, combined with Carol's first son Keelan, making this a complete, loving family.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Willie and Ernstine Riley, two sisters, Angela and Vickie Riley, in which Vickie departed October of 2023. He is survived by his children, Jay-Dee, Rasheed, and Keelan and their mother Carol Bush, all of Illinois, two brothers, Larry Riley of Waco, Dexter of Arlington and four sisters, Claudia Cummings and Wanda Riley of Waco, Carolyn Parrish of Las Vegas, Nevada and Audrey Wilson of San Antonio, along with a host of relatives and friends.
